Roman Seligo Partner

Roman joined Ward Howell International in Vienna as Partner for Austria and CEE in 2016. Roman has extensive business expertise and an impressive track record as Managing Director of well-known FMCG companies.

He started his professional career in 1998 for Unilever and moved to Japan Tobacco in 1999. There he became Market Manager & Managing Director CEE in 2002 and Vice President Austria in 2006. In 2007 Roman became General Manager Eastern Europe for the spice producer Kotányi, and in 2008 Managing Director of the fresh-fruit company EVA, before he moved to the Executive Search business in 2011 as Managing Partner of an international Executive Search group with offices in Europe and CIS.

Since 2014 Roman has also been teaching as Adjunct Professor at the Webster Private University. Roman studied Business Administration at the University of Economics in Vienna and the University of Illinois (USA) and graduated with a Master’s Degree in 1997 and a Doctorate in 2000, as well as a First Diploma in Law in 1993. He speaks native German and English and advanced French and Czech.

At Ward Howell International Roman Seligo is focusing on Executive Search in Austria and CEE in different industry sectors and is responsible for the Consumer and Life Science Practices.
