About Franz Heimel

Franz Heimel has a long track record in management consulting for companies of all sizes and sectors in Austria and internationally. He has accompanied organizations and leaders in different phases of their journey with an emphasis on learning and growth. After his studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, he started as an assistant to the managing director and junior consultant at a leading Austrian management consulting institute. After 10 years of formal and on-the-job training and experience as a management trainer, consultant and business developer he founded his own company together with two partners. Ever since, his consulting focus has been on leadership assessment and corporate development.

Parallel to his consulting activities, Franz went back to university for his doctorate in change management. In addition, he is a certified Business Consultant, Coach and Supervisory Expert.

After more than three decades in the consulting sector, Franz is now running his consulting business on his own and has joined Ward Howell as an Advisory Partner for Corporate Development. His senior expertise and insightful understanding make him a sought-after advisor and coach for strategic and complex leadership decisions.

He speaks fluent German and English.
