Sebastian Schlag is a Partner in Ward Howell International's Düsseldorf office.
Sebastian brings more than 25 years of experience in the retail and consumer goods industries. Through his Director and Managing Director roles at various international market leaders in this sector he has gained profound knowledge of the working mechanisms and drivers of the industry. Alongside this general expertise, his specific focus is on internationalisation of processes, business development and on purchasing. Within FMCG, Sebastian also has an extensive network in the Out of Home business such as hotels, restaurants and catering services.
Prior to Ward Howell International, Sebastian worked for Executive Search firms in Germany where he placed numerous positions within Consumer & Retail. His clients appreciate his long-standing, concrete experience within their sector in combination with his consulting role.
Sebastian holds a Bachelor degree of European Business Studies from the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, Germany and the Buckinghamshire New University near London.
