About Annemarie de Bourbon de Parme
Annemarie de Bourbon de Parme is Partner at Ward Howell
International in the Netherlands.
She has an international background. Annemarie obtained her French
Baccalaureate in Strasbourg, France in 1995. Then she studied a year at
James Madison University, VA, in the United States of America and afterwards
completed law school at the University of Utrecht in the
Netherlands. Annemarie also studied Chinese business law in
Shanghai and torts law at the Sydney law school. After obtaining a
Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in 2002, she successfully completed a
postgraduate degree in radio and television journalism at the
renowned University of Groningen in the Netherlands in 2003.
Annemarie has worked in journalism and communications in varying
positions and responsibilities for over 20 years.
Her last work was with the largest news organization in the
Netherlands, NOS, in Brussels and The Hague. Her specialization has
been (European) politics.
In 2011 she authored a book about the five former prime ministers of
the Netherlands, expounding their views on leadership, and the effect
political power had in their private lives.
In 2019, Annemarie has been the first woman invited to join Ward Howell
International in the Netherlands as a Partner. Her focus is consulting
about inclusion and diversity at board-level, and female leadership.
Specifically leadership solutions in executive search and
communication, this matches perfectly with Ward Howell
International. Annemarie will contribute to the further expansion of
Ward Howell in the Netherlands and in Europe.
