About Igor Kabuzenko

Igor specializes in C-Suite and Board searches for leading companies in Ukraine and the region of CEE. For over 15 years of his professional activity, Igor has completed hundreds of executive search projects for Energy, Real Estate Development and Information Technology companies as well as for Banks and Investment Funds.

As Head of Board Services in Ukraine, Igor leads related projects including development and implementation of corporate governance systems, boards of directors’ effectiveness evaluation alongside with acquisition, assessment and development of board members. Igor served as a supervisory board member for several Ukrainian joint stock companies.

In addition to his executive search and board services roles, Igor is a member of the firm’s leadership consulting team, offering integrated services, such as executive assessment, senior executives’ development programs, strategic sessions and executive workshops based on Ward Howell’s proprietary methodologies.

Prior to joining Ward Howell, Igor worked as Corporate Development Director of ICON Private Equity, an industry heavyweight in Ukraine and CIS. He was responsible for development of the portfolios’ executive teams, corporate governance and organizational development and was involved in acquisition of Ukrainian companies. Earlier in his career, Igor completed numerous projects in corporate finance, corporate governance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency improvement for large Ukrainian companies.

Igor graduated from the Open University Business School (UK) with the Professional Diploma in Management. He has also successfully completed the Advanced Program for Executive Search and Leadership Consultants at the Cornell University (USA).
